Nothing like a day off from the rat race to reset the joy of being human.

Six days, many labor and toil… but having one… just one day… to feel normal, slow down, and breathe, is game changing.

Weekend Chill

 

Working to save lives in uniform while balancing home, social, and relationship interests can wear a person out fast and furious.

Some, when given a chance to chill, will turn to liquor to forget it all.

Others turn to dance. Some dress fancy. But some, just want to feel pretty.

This shoot was just such a moment with a friend who just wanted to feel like a lady again… after a huge career marathon.

She made it work. She achieved her heart’s desires. As a reward, we did a shoot.

This is her weekend chill before going back to the fierce competitive workplace environment… where she continues to lead the pack.

For a period, this project was done to chronicle some of the chill my lady friends did. Although I do like to slow down long enough to read a book… but those days passed and should return again in the future.
