On a lovely afternoon, a lovely friend of mine agreed to model some of her fashion. The goal was to get a few nice photos to share with her boyfriend.

He loves her looks, her tastes works wonders. I wanted the practice to level up my skills. Plus, I wanted new content for a blog I was supporting at the time.

With this agreement in place, I went ahead and created a series of different playful photos. Many years later, I decided to use some of her photos on my photography blog. More years later, while addressing a little self-consciousness of my own, I decided to share the heeling pix on this site instead of on my older blog.

Pink Plush Gallery Crush

Many of the shots involved holding various poses while I tried many settings on the camera. Some photos came out wonderful, others came out needing more digital attention. Those that flopped will not be talked about.

Big thanks to my friend for modeling and giving me of her time. Today, she’s happily married to her boyfriend. The two enjoy their careers and their sense of fashion very well.

At the time of the shoot, we talked about the future. Today, the future is reality, which makes me very happy for her. That calm assurance that the future can be created in our favor stayed with me… and influenced the writings you’ve already read… linked at the every end.

Standing Pretty

The sun will shine and cast shadows. Without the sun, there aren’t many natural shadows, as they’re all swallowed up within darkness.

Therefore, whenever you’ve got the chance, stand tall while being pretty. It’s the only way to cast the best shadow for others to follow.

Pop a squat

When admiring the view, but unable to find a chair to sit on, well, there is the option of squatting a playful sensual teaser pose.

Sure, you’re probably going to stop traffic, which she did, but that’s OK. You’re not down for the count. You’re just resting before moving on to your next opportunity.

Besides, many a seductive move have moved many admires, while you’re doing something a little different than just standing there counting waves.

Hope Springs Eternal

Just like water is crucial for life, hope is crucial for dreams. We have to keep hope alive. Without it, we are tempted to give up striving.

With hope, we can chase any possibilities. With hope, we endure many inevitabilities. With hope, we cast our nets and catch our fishes.

Don’t dig your well when you’re thirsty. It may well be too late then. But dig it now. While you’ve got the time. While you’re not yet thirsty. Dig now and prepare for it all.

You can have it all… maybe not all at once, maybe not all this year. But eventually, you can have it all… if you start now.
