This post was originally supposed to appear on Love’s Perspective. However, moving the words to fit a romantic vibe… just didn’t seem fitting for the tone of the photos.

This set of pictures speaks to the diversity of strength any one single woman holds. She’s able to do magnificent things in untold number of circumstances.

Sun Kissed Gallery

The plan was to create a nice long story, but poetry seemed to make the best sense for this set of images.

My friend, who inspired these words, is a quiet super strong woman. She lets her actions speak for her. When she does speak, she is always very sweet. Her eyes always searching to understand your motives.

It was only fitting that these photos get held until the right time to merge them with the words they invoked.

Now is the time. Here is their moment.

Relaxed Moments

Showcasing what it’s like to relax after a very long day, the setting sun in the middle of a construction zone was the ideal setting to showcase these brown heels.

We, my friend and I, had been involved in a very long musical performance day. The entire cast of talent were starting to show their fatigue. It was, to make matters worse, a very hot air-condition-less day.

Yet, despite it all, my friend had kept her cool and looked none worse for wear. That just jumped out and stood out.

So, with a moment of inspiration, I asked her to take a little seat and rest… in front of the camera. I tried to capture the mood as accurately as I could.

Playful strength

Towards the middle of the shoot, as we spoke about what was inspiring the various angles, we agreed to play a bit outside the traditional format of our shoots.

Why not add a little play and laughter into the photos

With that, we tried as much as we could tolerate, before the summer’s heat got the better of us.

It was a great workout. It’s astonishing how much she is able to hide the exertion from the camera. Proof that I am better suited to take the photos instead of being photographed.
